Common questions

It's natural to be curious

Where exactly are you based?
In Hermitage village, Berkshire, a few minutes from junction 13 of the M4 and about ten minutes from both Newbury and Thatcham. I'll send full directions and parking details when you book.
What does hypnotherapy actually feel like?
Most people describe it as deeply relaxing, a bit like the drifting, comfortable feeling just before you fall asleep, while still being aware of everything around you. There's nothing strange or dramatic about it.
Will I be in control?
Completely. Hypnosis is not mind control. You can't be made to do or say anything against your will, you remain aware throughout, and you can stop at any time.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on you and what we're working on. Some changes, like stopping smoking, are often addressed in very few sessions; others benefit from a little more time. We'll discuss what's realistic in your free consultation.
Do you see clients in the evening?
Yes, I offer flexible times including evenings, both in person and online. Mention what suits you on your free call and we'll find a slot that works.
